Dr. Karen Besler received her dental degree from the University of Iowa in 2000. After graduating, she participated in the General Practice Residency program at the University, which provided her an opportunity to serve a variety of patients at both the University Hospital and the VA Medical Clinic in Iowa City. Dr. Besler has a strong interest in cosmetic dentistry, and through continuing education she has expanded her knowledge in root canal therapy, veneers, and teeth straightening with Invisalign® treatment.
Dr. Besler is also active within the community. She is currently a member of the Cedar Rapids Daybreak Rotary, Cedar Rapids Executive Association and Health Volunteers Overseas. She plans to help train dental students in developing countries through mission trips with H.V.O.
Dr. Laura Ross is proud to be a part of the team at Dental Associates of
Cedar Rapids. She brings with her over ten years experience practicing dentistry
In Chicago, Illinois. and Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Ross is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she attended
Dental school at Temple University. She received her dental license in 1998.
Prior to dental school, she received her bachelor degree in psychology from
Boston University. Dr Ross also has a background in art, translating her artistic skills to the fine art of dentistry.
